Welcome

When I started this blog I had intended it to be focused on the shenanigans of being a stay at home mom of 2.  The Lord had other plans for me, as I find is usually the case.  Shortly after I started blogging I became deathly sick from a 2 year battle with undiagnosed Lyme Disease.  My husband and I had met the Lord a year prior when our marriage was failing and our addictions controlled us.  We got to know the Lord much more intimately while we fought for my life.

The Lord has been kind to me, healing me, giving me back my mobility and cognitive functions and I praise him for those months of severe illness.  Through that time we learned about the covenant of marriage, the importance of a Christian family ( our church) and what putting our trust in the Lord really meant.

This blog has shifted from that of comedic ramblings to the lessons I learn  on my Christian journey.  There is a whole lot in my past that use to define me. Once I became a child of God life took on real meaning and my past no longer had control over me.  I serve first the Lord Jesus, then my husband, then my children.  I hope and pray that for other believers my writings can touch your heart, the lessons I’m blessed to learn can benefit you, and that above all else I please the Lord in what I do.  I also pray that the Lord uses me to bring souls to him, for man will not suffer in Hell because God did not want him, but because he did not want God.

Romans 12:2     Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

2 Corinthians 5:17 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

1 John 1:9 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
